When you donate securities, you make an outsized impact without taking money direclty out of your bank account. Plus, neither you nor CARECEN will be taxed on the gains for appreciated assets you donate.

Unless you’d prefer your stock gift to remain anonymous, please let us know you are initiating a stock gift, so that we may properly acknowledge you for your generosity.
Please email us at admin@carecendc.org or call (202) 328-9799 and include the following information in your notification:
- Name, address, phone, email (all optional, but preferred)
- The name of the stock
- The number of shares or anticipated gift amount (if able)

Stock donations can be up to 20% more valuable than selling the stock & donating the proceeds, and most donors can claim a tax deduction for the stock’s full value.
